EXCELLENT END OF THE SEASON FOR THE EUROPEAN SHOOTERS

The European shooters dominated at the 2014 ISSF World Cup Final that took place in Gabala, Azerbaijan. During 5 days of the competitions they won 10 out of the 15 events.

The winners of the 2014 ISSF World Cup are Nazar Louginets (Russia) in 10m Air Rifle  Men, Monika Karsch (Germany) in 25m Pistol Women, Zuzana Rehak Stefecekova (Slovakia) in Trap Women, Leonid Ekimov (Russia) in 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Men, Massimo Fabbrizi (Italy) in Trap Men, Sergey Chervyakovskiy (Russia) in 10m Air Pistol Men, Sergey Kamenskiy (Russia) in 50m Rifle 3 Positions Men, Snjezana Pejcic (Croaria) in 50m Rifle 3 Positions Women, Albina Shakirova in Skeet Women and Daniel Brodmeier (Germany) in 50m Rifle Prone Men.

Besides 10 titles of the 2014 ISSF World Cup winners, 8 European shooters finished on the second place and 6 - on the third.

The shooters from Asia won 3 first, 5 second and 8 third places. The shooters from Americas got 2 gold and1 silver medals. One silver medal went to Africa, one bronze medal - to Australia.

The ISSF World Cup Final became an excellent end of the 2014 season for the European shooters. Just to remind that at the 51st ISSF World Championship in Granada, Spain, they won 40 out of 64 Quota Places for the Games of the XXXI Olympiad in Rio-de-Janeiro.
