Yesterday the young athletes had 10m Running Target Mixed Men Junior Competition where Vuorimaa won bronze medal after Ukrainian Danyle Danilenko and Hovhannes Margaryan. Today was his turn to polish the bronze to gold medal when he won the 10m Running Target Medal Matches.
In semifinal Vuorimaa won German Kris Grossheim 6-1 and in the second semifinal Andreas Bergstroem(SWE) beat yesterday gold medalist Danylo Danilenko (UKR) 9-7.
Vuorimaa and Berstroem achieved the place in Gold match and Grossheim and Danilenko in Bronze Match.
Vuorimaa started strongly the Gold match and he was leading already 4-1 after five shots, then both shot 10.1 and after that Vuorimaa lost the next shot. During the last shot Vuorimaa concentrated better and won finally the Gold Match 6-3.
