THE FIRST GOLD WENT TO BELARUS, THE OLYMPIC QUOTA PLACE – TO ISRAEL

Vitaly Bubnovich from Belarus won the first gold medal of the shooting competitions at the 1st European Games in Baku. With 206,6 points in the Final he finished on top of the podium in 10m Air Rifle Men.

Niccolo Campriani from Italy, who was leading the competitions till the last shot, ended up on the second place and won the silver medal with 206,4 points.

Sergey Richter from Israel finished third, but, perhaps, was the happiest person in the Finals hall. His bronze medal secured him the Quota place for the Games of the XXXI Olympiad in Rio de Janeiro.
