Vladimir Lisin attends the World Shooting Para Sport World Cup in Châteauroux

Vladimir Lisin, ESC President, current ISSF Vice-President and candidate for the position of the ISSF President, attended the World Shooting Para Sport World Cup that is taking place at the French National Shooting Centre in Châteauroux, France. The competitions gathered 229 participants from 43 countries of Europe, Asia, Oceania and Americas who compete in 19 events for the medals and Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games Quota Places.

In Châteauroux Vladimir Lisin was welcomed by Philippe Crochard, President of the French Shooting Federation. The two Presidents discussed the future of the shooting sport and candidatures for the different positions to be elected at the forth coming ISSF General Assembly on November 30, 2018.

Vladimir Lisin also had a meeting with Tyler Anderson, World Shooting Para Sport Manager, and Ghislaine Briez, Chair of the ESC Technical Committee and Technical Delegate for Shooting in the IPC. The discussion was about the future cooperation between the Olympic and Para Sport Shooting as well as about a possible incorporation of the para shooting events in the program of official ISSF and ESC competitions.
