Anton Aristarkhov for gold after interesting final: "I thought that I lost the gold when I shot 9.1"

Anton Aristarkhov ruled his nerves best and won the European Championship in 10m Air Pistol Men Junior Competition.

The final was very active while on top place there visited half of the finalists: Zaven Igityan (ARM), Robin Walter (GER),Abdul-Aziz Kurdzi (BLR) and also Anton Aristarkhov.

"Interesting final I have to say. When my hit were not good I forgot to follow my own order. I knew what I have to do, but someway I lost my concentration. I came here to win and I did what I was going to. Well, I have to admit that when I shot 9.1 to the third last shot, I tought that now I lost the gold. Fortunately or unfortunately the other athletes did not hit so well too", explained Aristarkhov serious expression on his face.

The silver travelled to Belarus for Abdul-Aziz Kurdzi who lost finally 0.7. Bronze took Robin Walter 216.1 from Germany.
