From tears to tears

Olena Kostevych´s day started with tears when missing one shot in the final of Air Pistol Women. The day finished also with tears, but this time for pleasure and happiness. After few moments before the Ukrainian team (Olena Kostevych and Oleh Omelchuk) had won European Championship gold in the Olympic Event Final Day in Osijek in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed team competition which was the last Saturday´s event.

"In the morning I was crying and during the day I tried to concentrate and now I am very happy. Very different feelings at the moment. I´ll feel so happy while we are the best team in Europe with my colleague Oleh Omelchuk. We were first time as a team with Oleh here in Osijek", explained Olena clearly with emotion.

"We were challengers, but we managed to achieve gold. I must admit that I´m also happy that we could manage and we had also luck today", said Oleh Omelchuck.

Ukrainian Mixed Team 1 won finally with the difference of 0.9 point Russian Federation team1. Ukrainian victory result was 486. Bronze medal winner was Serbian Mixed Team 1.

The European Championship will continue on Sunday with Team Medal Matches.
